CES research professor, Dr. Washington Braida was an invited speaker at
the international conference Ecoanalytic of Central Asia, October 10-13, 2007 at A-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU), in Almaty Kazakhstan. His lecture titled "Electrochemistry and electrochemical
thermodynamics as applied to corrosion of metals: the tungsten case" focused on environmental corrosion of tungsten alloys and environmental release of metals.
Dr. Braida also gave a series of invited lectures to doctoral students at KazNU
